Dates for your diary: November 1 is All Saints Day; November 5 is Guy Fawkes night. Give a thought to the animals who don’t like the noise and bring them inside. November 6 at 2 a.m. is the end of daylight saving time. It is also the publication anniversary of my debut novel Sail Away. It is also Christmas next month so why not give a copy of Sail Away as a Christmas gift. Books are an acceptable gift at a reasonable price. And a lot cheaper than a games console! Books make ideal gifts for all occasions. November is also one of the worst months weather wise.
